Fireball 290H - Street Performance

This kit provides improved performance and furl efficient operation. It is ideal for passenger cars, vans, street rods, tow vehicies and marine applicarions.

Characteristics are strong low to midrange torque, a good idle with a slight lope at 750 RPM operating from 2000 to 5500 with cruse RPM of 2600 - 3200. A compression ratio of 9.00 to 10.25 to 1 is recommended.

Valve spring and retainer changes may be required as well as recurving the distributor timing and tailoring the vacuum advance curve to meet your individual driving conditions.

Even though this cam and lifter kit has been designed for optimum performance by itself, we have found that the following option will compliment this installation: A free flowing exhaust system with headers, and aftermarket intake, and aftermarket intake with 5500 to 6500 maximum RPM and Minimum 60 CFM 4BBL carburetor.
